Under the proposed registration system, providers of short-term rental accommodation within Western Australia would be required to register their property to operate and advertise, including on online booking platforms.

Comments provided here will be forwarded to the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries for their consideration.

Please note that comments on the draft Position Statement, including short-term rental development exemptions and definitions, can only be made through Survey 2: Planning for Tourism Position Statement.
