Overview

The Minister for Planning has commissioned an independent review of the planning system to identify ways to make it more efficient, open and understandable to everyone.

The Green Paper outlines the challenges in the planning system and proposes five key reform areas.

Why your views matter

Feedback is sought on the reform proposals from the community, local government, industry and practitioners.

All feedback received will inform analysis of the proposals and the preparation of a White Paper that will set out the State Government’s reform agenda for a modern planning system.
