The amendment is shown on Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) plan number 3.2751 and is effective from the date of publication of this notice in the Government Gazette.

Overview
The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking public comment on a proposal to amend the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) for land in the City of Canning.
The amendment proposes to reclassify portions of Lot 4 Fern Road and Lot 102 Castledare Place, Wilson from the Urban zone to Parks and Recreation reserve (0.50 hectare) and reclassify land from Parks and Recreation reserve to the Urban zone (1.02 hectares), in the MRS. 1.11 hectares of Bush Forever site 224 is proposed for removal.
The WAPC certifies that, in its opinion, the proposed amendment does not constitute a substantial alteration to the MRS.
