Overview
The application seeks approval for alterations and additions to existing Food and Beverage Production consisting of the following works:
- The demolition of an existing shed, a lean-to and removal of sea containers totalling approximately 280m2 in area.
- The construction of a replacement production shed and private 2 car garage totalling 339.58m2. The shed will consist of a basement, ground and upper floor.
- Site works and associated retaining for the construction of the basement floor and offloading ramp.
- The conversion of an existing shed that was previously used in the food and beverage operation to a shed for personal use.
- Drainage works in the form of a compensation basin.
The application seeks to vary Schedule 5 of the Swan Valley Planning Scheme No. 1 – Additional site and development requirements for land zoned Priority Agriculture regarding the following:
- The proposed production shed is set back 10.605m from the northern side lot boundary in lieu of the required 15m.
- The proposed production shed is set back 6.803m from the rear lot boundary in lieu of the required 15m.
