Swan Valley Development - Proposed installation of two (2) outbuildings and the keeping of four (4) horses, Lot 17 (No. 171) Stock Road, Herne Hill
Overview
The proposal is for a:
- 360m2 agricultural outbuilding to support the existing vineyard operations;
- 224m2 domestic outbuilding (stables) to support the keeping of horses; and,
- ‘Rural Pursuit’ use for the keeping of four (4) horses.
The application proposes variations to the to the development requirements under the Swan Valley Planning Scheme No. 1 (SVPS 1) for the Swan Valley Rural zone as follows:
- a combined domestic building footprint of 669m2 in lieu of the required 500m2; and,
- a combined agricultural building footprint of 535m2 in lieu of the required 300m2.
