The Aboriginal Cultural Material Committee (ACMC) will assess Aboriginal Heritage Place ID 39191 (Warnangura (Cape Range) Cultural Precinct), at its meeting on Tuesday 9 May 2023.

ID 39191 (Warnangura (Cape Range) Cultural Precinct) has importance and significance as a cultural precinct encompassing Cape Range Peninsula.

Property owners with land interests that adjoin or intersect any part of ID 39191 (Warnangura (Cape Range) Cultural Precinct) are invited to provide comments that may be relevant to the ACMC’s consideration of this matter.

There will be no impacts to land ownership or access as a result of the ACMC’s assessment.  However, any future activities that are likely to damage, excavate or alter ID 39191 (Warnangura (Cape Range) Cultural Precinct) may require approval under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1972.
