The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking comment on a development application from the MELconnx relating to the construction of the proposed Whiteman Park Station.

The development application will be determined by the WAPC in accordance with section 116 of the Planning and Development Act 2005.
Development Application Details
The Whiteman Park Station development application proposes the construction of:
- a new elevated station building (including station entrance, platforms on viaduct and forecourt) with typical station amenities;
- a new bus interchange immediately west of station;
- new pedestrian and cyclist facilities to station, with new connections to Principal Shared Path east of station;
- a dedicated passenger drop off area and park and ride facility with approximately 900 bays; and
- landscaped pedestrian and cycle underpass into the station.
