Overview

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking comment on the revised State Planning Policy 3.6 infrastructure contributions (SPP 3.6).

Infrastructure contributions is a long-standing mechanism where the development sector works with State and local government to deliver infrastructure to accommodate urban growth.

The revised draft SPP 3.6 Infrastructure Contributions proposes to introduce a framework for the delivery of infrastructure to new and existing communities. The draft policy aims to ensure greater accountability, transparency and consistency in providing for infrastructure contributions.
