The Minister for Planning has approved, as advertised, the amendment to the Metropolitan Region Scheme.

The amendment is shown on Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) plan number 3.2723 and is effective from the date of publication of this notice in the Government Gazette (31 January 2020).

Overview

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking public comment on a proposal to amend the Metropolitan Region Scheme for land in the Shire of Mundaring.

The amendment proposes to rezone approximately 18.66 hectares being portions of Lots 61 Roland Road and Lot 1001 Kilburn Road, Parkerville located to the south of the Clutterbuck Creek from the Rural zone to the Urban zone in the MRS.
