Metropolitan Region Scheme Minor Amendment 1399/57 Hay Road, Ascot

Overview

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking public comment on a proposal to amend the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) for land in the City of Belmont.

The amendment proposes to transfer approximately 1.53 hectares of land in Ascot from the Parks and Recreation reservation to the Urban zone in the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS). The proposed Urban zoning will facilitate further planning to provide for the future development of part of the amendment area for residential and related land uses.

The WAPC certifies that, in its opinion, the proposed amendment does not constitute a substantial alteration to the MRS.
