Metropolitan Region Scheme amendment 1393/57 – Armadale Road to North Lake Road Bridge (Tapper Road to Midgegooroo Avenue)

Overview

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking public comment on a proposal to amend the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) for land in the City of Cockburn.

The amendment proposes to reclassify land to Primary Regional Roads reservation, Railways reservation and Industrial zone along Armadale and North Lake Roads between Tapper Road and Midgegooroo Avenue in the MRS. The proposal reflects the recently constructed Armadale Road to North Lake Bridge project, aligns with the intended regional road network under Perth and Peel @3.5 million (WAPC, 2018) and allows for orderly land use planning to occur.
