Metropolitan Region Scheme Minor amendment 1390/57 & 1391/57 - Bullsbrook

Overview

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking public comment on a proposal to amend the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) for land in the City of Swan.

This grouped MRS amendment comprises of two amendments in the Bullsbrook locality, which seek to rezone approximately 31.70 hectares of land from the Rural zone to the Urban and Urban Deferred zones.

1390/57 - Pt Lot 834 Hurd Road and Pt Lots 1288 & 2792 Taylor Road, Bullsbrook 

The northern amendment proposal for Pt Lot 834 Hurd Road and Pt Lots 1288 & 2792 Taylor Road, seeks to rezone approximately 12.66 hectares of land from the Rural zone to the Urban zone in the MRS.

1391/57 - Pt Lots 900 & 901 Lage Road and Pt Lot 201 Great Northern Highway, Bullsbrook

The southern amendment proposal for Pt Lots 900 & 901 and Pt Lot 201 Great Northern Highway, seeks to rezone approximately 19.04 hectares of land from the Rural zone to the Urban Deferred zone in the MRS.

The amendments will facilitate further planning to enable the future development of the amendment areas for residential and related land uses.

The Western Australian Planning Commission certifies that, in its opinion, the proposed amendments do not constitute a substantial alteration to the MRS.
