MRS minor amendment 1361/57 - City of Canning Omnibus 1

Overview

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking public comment on a proposal to amend the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) for land in the local government areas of Canning and Gosnells.

This amendment proposes to update various zones and reservations in the Central Districts of the Perth Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) at the request of the City of Canning.  Proposals within the amendment include small scale amendments to the region scheme which do not warrant consideration as individual amendments, the rationalisation of zones and reservations to match cadastral boundaries, updates to reflect infrastructure as constructed, and other general updates to ensure the MRS is kept up-to-date as the statutory regional plan for Perth.

The WAPC certifies that, in its opinion, the proposed amendment does not constitute a substantial alteration to the MRS.
