Overview

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking comment on a planning proposal at Lot 284, 7 James Stirling Place, Harvey. The proposal is for a change in land use from administration offices to educational establishment (South Regional TAFE).

The development application works are limited to the northern rectangular brick building, proposed to be retro-fitted using the existing building shell to create:

  • Three classrooms – to accommodate a maximum of 17 students and three staff
  • Student breakout area
  • Office
  • IT facility (existing)
  • Male, female and universal access toilets (upgraded)

In addition, current carparking will be formalised using the existing bitumen paved area. The existing front building and sheds are unaffected.
