Why your views matter

The WAPC is seeking your comment on proposed changes to State Planning Policy 4.1State Industrial Buffer Policy, which has been renamed State Planning Policy 4.1 Industrial Interface.

The review of SPP 4.1 has been undertaken following a comprehensive problem definition phase that examined the conflict between industry and sensitive land uses within close proximity to each other. The policy review has been overseen by a sub-committee of the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC), with input provided by a Technical Working Group comprising representatives of State and local government agencies and peak industry bodies.
