Metropolitan Region Scheme minor amendment 1359/57 - Vincent Street, Leederville

Overview

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking public comment on a proposal to amend the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) for land in the local government area of Vincent.

The amendment proposes to transfer portions of Lots 3, 4 and 200 Oxford Street, Lot 30 Newcastle Street, Lots 8 and 9 Vincent Street, Leederville and Reserves 2618, 3839 and 50346 from the Other Regional Roads (ORR) reservation zone to the Urban zone and Parks and Recreation - Restricted Public Access reservation in the MRS.

This amendment will rationalise the reservation of Vincent Street in Leederville to the existing constructed road footprint, to facilitate a future five-storey office development.

The Western Australian Planning Commission certifies that, in its opinion, the proposed amendment does not constitute a substantial alteration to the MRS.
