The amendment proposes to transfer approximately 15.69 ha in Whiteman from the Parks and Recreation reservation to the Public Purposes - Special Uses reservation in the MRS. The amendment also zones 1.72 ha to the Urban zone in order to provide for the widening of Marshall Road and align with the abutting zoning.
The amendment will facilitate the development of a new screen production facility following development approval being issued.
The WAPC certifies that, in its opinion, the proposed amendment does not constitute a substantial alteration to the MRS.
