MRS minor amendment 1377/57 - Forrestfield North Environmental Conservation Areas

Overview

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking public comment on a proposal to amend the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) for land in the local government of Kalamunda.

The amendment seeks to transfer approximately 10.2 ha of land in High Wycombe from the Urban and Rural zones to the Parks and Recreation reservation under the MRS. The amendment also zones a small Urban area for future local Public Open Space.

The amendment facilitates the protection of areas of high biodiversity value for environmental conservation.

The WAPC certifies that, in its opinion, the proposed amendment does not constitute a substantial alteration to the MRS.
