The Minister for Planning has approved, as advertised, the amendment to the Metropolitan Region Scheme.

The amendment is shown on Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) plan number 3.2705 and is effective from the date of publication of this notice in the Government Gazette.

Overview

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking public comment on a proposal to amend the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) for land in the local government area of Swan.
 
The amendment proposes to rezone approximately 262.82 hectares from the Rural zone to the Urban zone in the MRS.
 
The WAPC certifies that, in its opinion, the proposed amendment does not constitute a substantial alteration to the MRS.
