Overview

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking public comment on a proposal to amend the Swan Valley Planning Scheme No. 1. 

The amendment proposes to rezone Lot 501 (No.130) Hamersley Road, Caversham from the Priority Agriculture zone and Parks and Recreation reservation to the Special Use zone with appropriate land use permissibility arrangements for the former Riverbank Detention Centre site, to support its heritage preservation and the freehold divestment of this Crown land.
