Exposure Draft - Proposed Policy Framework Guiding the Use of Diversification Leases on Crown Land

Closed 19 Aug 2022

Opened 28 Jun 2022

Overview

Amendments to the Land Administration Act 1997 (LAA) are currently being drafted. If approved, the LAA will be amended to include a new form of nonexclusive leasehold tenure known as a Diversification Lease. This new lease will allow multiple concurrent land uses without the need for permits and will allow continued access by other land users.

A detailed summary of the proposed amendments to the LAA are available on the DPLH website.

A draft Policy Framework Guiding the Use of Diversification Leases on Crown Land has been produced by the Department for public consultation. You are invited to have your say on the draft Policy Framework. Please complete the online feedback form below.
