The Heritage Council of Western Australia is considering whether to recommend that the Minister for Heritage should include World War II Buildings, Oliver Hill Battery and Signal Ridge, Wadjemup/ Rottnest Island in the State Register for Heritage Places.
Inclusion in the Register enables the conservation, continuing use, development and adaptive re-use of places with recognised cultural heritage significance, in ways that promote and maintain their place in Western Australia’s history.
