Overview

Cape Peron is a coastal gem. Its spectacular natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere have been treasured by past generations but needs to be planned for into the future.

The Perth and Peel @ 3.5 million frameworks establish a vision for the Perth and Peel regions and identified Cape Peron as one of 15 Planning Investigation Areas (PIAs). PIAs are areas which need further detailed planning to establish the appropriate range of land uses and compatible activities.

With more visitors, businesses, residents and services coming into the Rockingham area, we need a plan that captures what makes the Cape special, while identifying the many opportunities for it to become a great coastal destination for everyone to enjoy.
